There was a time when the aroma of freshly made Ukdiche Modak filled every Maharashtrian home. Festivals were not just celebrations; they were moments of togetherness, devotion, and love. Recipes were not written in books they were passed down from mothers and grandmothers through generations.
But life has changed.
Families have become smaller. Workdays have become longer. Children move away for education and careers. Many traditional foods that once brought families together are slowly disappearing from everyday life.
At Festyfood, we asked ourselves a simple question:
“How do we preserve Maharashtra’s traditions for future generations?”
The answer was not replacing tradition.

Founded in 2023, Festyfood Treats Pvt. Ltd. is a 100% women-led food manufacturing company dedicated to preserving Maharashtra's rich culinary heritage through premium frozen traditional foods. Our mission is simple to ensure that authentic recipes passed down through generations continue to reach families across India and around the world.
What started with just 100 handmade Ukdiche Modaks a day has today grown into a modern manufacturing facility producing over 7,000 Modaks daily, while preserving the same authentic taste, traditional recipes and handcrafted techniques that define Maharashtrian cuisine.
At Festyfood, we believe frozen food is not a replacement for tradition it is a way of preserving it.
Our Frozen Ukdiche Modak, Frozen Bhakri (Jowar, Bajra & Rice), Frozen Puran Poli, are prepared using carefully selected ingredients including premium Ambemohor & Indrayani rice flour, fresh coconut, jaggery, ghee, cardamom, nutmeg, nuts and Kesar. Manufactured in our FSSAI compliant hygienic facility, every product delivers the warmth of homemade food with the convenience of modern freezing technology without compromising on taste, purity or tradition.

1978: The Humble Kitchen
Founded in a small kitchen in Pune, where traditional Maharashtrian recipes were perfected using locally sourced marigold-picked spices and hand-pounded grains.
2010: Industrial Scalability
Transitioning to a state-of-the-art facility, we introduced Frozen (Individually Quick Frozen) technology to preserve the 'Handmade' texture and flavor at scale.
